Abilities Requirements:
•Good understanding of basic credit requirements and client repayment ability assessment on a corporate level.
•Demonstrate sound knowledge of financial statements, the interpretation thereof and credit and collections.
•Knowledge of Bank of Namibia and Reserve Bank policies and rules are an advantage.
•Strong analytical and computer skills, good interpretative skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
•Must be able to meet stringent deadlines and perform under pressure.
•Share information in different ways to increase stakeholders understanding
•Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•Checking accuracy of reports and records
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum: Grade 12 (25 points) with three years banking experience. Experience in a credit-granting environment is an advantage.
•3 years’ experience in credit assessment of which 2 years in credit control / risk management environment
•Preferably a Diploma in Banking and Business
