Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Ensure a cost effective and efficient financial support platform to provide a value adding financial service to the site and its business partners
Responsible for the operational cost management of the site
Optimize financial processes to ensure accurate standards of the site (Production overheads, Loss % allowance
Render effective and efficient operational cost control at the site
Monthly reporting of the site to management and Supply Chain Finance Centre
Build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Implement new ideas and improve methods, systems and work processes that will lead to higher quality, better results in reduced or reduced cost
Support and assist managers in compiling OPEX and capital budgets / forecasts
Contribute and evaluate inputs and motivations for amounts ensuring that meaningful targets are set per cost centre
Co-ordinate processing of budget / forecasts and effective financial control for year end
Management reporting of OPEX and Liquor and material variance explanations
Report on status of capital budget and manage and co-ordinate asset register
Settlement and confirmation of production and quality orders
Assist and guide cost centre managers with financial information, proper variance declarations interpretation of expenses
Highlight areas of concern in OPEX or variances and recommend corrective action where possible
Ensure site complies with ICC, self-assessments, stock takes and internal audit programs
Responsible for site excise accounts and liaise with Supply Chain Excise Centre
Management subordinates effectively
The successful candidate must have the following experience & qualification:
Relevant Accounting degree
CIMA qualification will be highly advantageous
Minimum 3 years relevant business experience
Advanced MS Office skills
Sound knowledge of SAP and /or other ERP systems
Communication skills that include excellent negotiation skills, ability to network and excellent presentation skills
High energy levels and a self-starter
Good analytical skills and ability to interpret and present financial and statistical data
Strong decision making and problem solving ability
Opportunity seeking attitude with sound business skills and judgement
Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Adaptable to change
