MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB


Product Manager responsible for Business Planning.


 


Establish Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly Business targets in accordance with the business strategy, risks and opportunities.


 


Establish the clear reports that highlight business status including Sales forecast, Sales achievements, WOS, Marketing expenses, Sales reductions and Profitability.


 


Manage Promotional Library that governs effectiveness of the marketing spend, Share the status and guide to improve promotional spending efficiency.


 


Communicate to relevant stakeholders internally and Externally, to set correct expectations and align the strategy that will affect their financial planning i.e) Marketing expenses and finance accruals


 


Monitor & Improve KPI’s on continues basis in accordance to the plan that was set prior. Report progress periodically and escalate where necessary.

Key Activities 


□ Business Planning (Yearly)


1)  Establish Management plan(MP) considering Macro-environment and Companies Market share Target, Which include Sales Revenue Target, Profits, Sales Deduction target, Online sales target, B2B sales target, and Marketing expense plan.


2)  Establish Detailed Sub-Plans that splits to each accounts, market segments, seasonality and key launching date.


3)  Setup the target by account / by month / by market segments to ensure business is growing and allocate resources adequately achieve yearly goal.


 


 


□ Silhang & Sokbo planning (Monthly)


1)  Establish M+3 Monthly Target in line with business environment.


2)  Monitor Progress against target on weekly basis to management


3)  Take multiple factors into considerations i.e) 3 months promotional plans, expense plans, new model launching, sales returns, supply constraints, competitor activities, customers financial status, in order to plan the most accurate target for next 3 months.


4)  The Target is set account and model level detailing sales price, cost of goods, and terms of business contracts in discussion with Business leader and KAM.


5)  Analysis report before / after Silhang/Sokbo finalization


6)  Summaries and report to all relevant parties


 


□ Month End Closing (Monthly)


1)  Ensure Net Sales Revenue is met


2)  Ensure Sales Deduction target is met


3)  Ensure Marketing expenses and Accruals are raised correctly.


4)  Identify under/over accrued Sales conditions


5)  Adjust Sales Conditions accruals with Finance


6)  Monthly Report to RHQ / HQ / HOD


 


□ Weekly KPI Report


1)  Sales Progress Report


2)  Sell-out progress and Future plan review


3)  Demand Plan change report


4)  Weekly Report to RHQ / HQ / HOD


 


□ Promotion Library Management (PLM)


1)  Weekly Sharing of the promotion effectiveness
