Requirements
•A minimum of a master’s degree in the social sciences (preferably in the field of human geography or city planning)
•Able to demonstrate experience in working on urban regeneration and innovation projects, especially those involving institutions of higher education.
•Fluency in English and isiXhosa.
•Knowledge and experience of the Buffalo City region and the city itself, including socio political dynamics and governance structures will be an advantage
•Previous qualitative field work experience and training to undertake informant interviews;
•Possess a valid driver’s license;
•Fieldwork experience with the HSRC will be an added advantage;
