DUTIES

Provide general managerial and commercial advice; Oversee timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS and IAS, in addition to ongoing corporate, commercial and tax advice and strategy; Assess and provide financial advice and direction to management in relation to the company’s performance; Complete timely and accurate preparation of annual financial statements for provision to external accountants or auditors; Forecast and manage the company cashflow and annual budgets; Manage the supply chain working group and assist with setting the procurement strategy; Ensure adherence with all company policies for Safety, Health & Environment at all times; Develop a an IT strategy designed to service the business’s current requirements while having capacity to facilitate the business’s growth plans; and As a key member of the Executive Management team, contribute to the culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through innovation, passion and a desire to genuinely make a difference to the future health of the environment.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

Be degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or the equivalent as well as being CA/CPA qualified; Possess strong analytical skills, in addition to solid interpersonal, negation, commercial and project management skills; Be detail orientated, accurate and efficient with strong problem solving and time management skills; A proven ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally to deliver the best possible business outcomes for the organisation; Have genuine altruism focused on improving the health of our environment; Demonstrated experience in a highly commercial environment in a key finance role; Have high levels of energy, a pragmatic disposition and genuine desire to continuously improve yourself and your working environment.
