Build IT, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd is recruiting for a Helpdesk Analyst, at the Central Office in Pinetown. Purpose of the Job: To provide technical end-user support for IQ Retail to the Retail stores via the Build it Helpdesk. Principal Duties: Provide user support via helpdesk Communicate and develop relationships with Retailers and Suppliers Investigate problems with retail software at store level Provide technical systems support and advice to retailers Helpdesk support to Retailers - phones, handle retailer’s complaints Troubleshoot IT systems and investigate software issues Accurately record the nature of issues in the helpdesk call logging system and priorities them Upgrade retail software and maintain programs Matric – mandatory Proficiency in Afrikaans - required Diploma/Degree in Accounting field – advantage Understanding of IQ Retail system - advantage Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering/Database Administrator or BSC IT or BCom IS 2-3 years IT end-user and infrastructure support experience Database administration Hardware retail experience – advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Self-motivated and takes initiative Ability to work under pressure Deadline driven Matric – mandatory Proficiency in Afrikaans - required Diploma/Degree in Accounting field – advantage Understanding of IQ Retail system - advantage Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering/Database Administrator or BSC IT or BCom IS 2-3 years IT end-user and infrastructure support experience Database administration Hardware retail experience – advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Self-motivated and takes initiative Ability to work under pressure Deadline driven
