ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

•Grade 12

•Relevant Technical Qualification, i.e Mechanical Engineering, Trade etc.

EXPERIENCE:

•5+ Years’ experience in Customer Management, within the valve manufacturing industry

•Valid Passport

•Valid Driver’s license and willingness to travel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

•Strategic Thinking

•Sector Knowledge- Mining, Water Infrastructure, Effluent, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Agriculture, and must have worked in the valve sector in a minimum of 4 of these sectors

•Existing customer network in these sectors

•Strategic Sales Level

oPast experience in building and managing Pipeline, Forecasting and Close Conversions

oPresentation Skills (Power Point)

oKnowledge and experience in Sales Tools, Salesforce, Leads2Business, Other Sales CRM Systems

•Cost Accounting

•Visionary

•Engineering Business Acumen specifically in the valve pipeline requirements, enabled to talk to engineers

•Understand Relationship Value

•Understand and have experience in the full Supply Chain Management Cycle

•Competent in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Email

•Excel Intermediate in Pivots, VLook Ups experience

•Have exposure and experience in the Rest of Africa Territory in the sectors that DFC operates
