Requirements and experience:
•BSc/BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably in the Mining industry of which 3 years should have been in a supervisory capacity.
•BTech in Electrical Engineering with a Minimum of 7 years’ experience preferably in the Mining industry of which 5 years should have been in a supervisory capacity.
•Sound experience in the application of RCM/RCS/FMEA analysis especially availability/reliability modelling.
•Sound experience in power system analyses using software applications, such as DigSilent.
•Sound experience in protection relay settings.
•Knowledge of power generation and power plant operation will be an added advantage.
•Sound experience in Reliability centered maintenance (RCM), philosophies and techniques.
•Experience in Project Management
•Experience of system Engineering
•SAP PM Experience
•Equipment long-term and LCC based budgeting experience
•Valid Code 8 Driver’s License.
