Educational & Experience Requirements
•3 Year Bachelor’s Degree qualification, preferably in Communications/Journalism/Digital/Social Media Marketing
•At least 2-3 years’ experience working with brands in the social media space, community management and content writing
•Highly organised, strong communicator that has a passion for social media and digital storytelling
•Strong time management skills with proven ability to manage several projects at once, to prioritise work, and to work under pressure to meet tight timeframes.
•Experience in putting implementing & managing a social media content strategy, plan and execution-measurement framework.
•Computer literate and with demonstrated ability in generic computer packages such as Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel, as well as the different social networking platforms.
Advantageous:
•Experience in or an understanding of PPC and SEO would be advantageous
•Experience using a graphic design platform, used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. Eg. Canva
•Use of a bulk sms/email tool Eg. Everlytic or similar
